The bouquet for this Paringa Estate Pinot Gris has lifted varietal fragrance of fresh cut pear with hints of lychee and mandarin. The palate has fresh pear and citrus fruit flavours combined with lovely mid palate texture and balance, finishing with cleansing acidity.

Winery Notes

We aim to make a Gris with personality. A wine that has bright fruit flavours and a textured palate. To achieve this style, we tank ferment two thirds of the juice at low temperatures, which allows the aromas and fresh fruit flavours to develop. The remaining juice is barrel fermented with wild yeast, which adds texture and complexity.

Aromas of nashi pear, honeysuckle, and white peach, lead on to a lively, well-rounded palate, with green apple and pear flavours, and a hint of spice.
