It is said that the name Three Swallow originated with the Power Familys three coachmen, who, as the story goes, would prepare a small flask of POWERS ahead of a long trip just enough whiskey to give each man a swallow but not interfere with the journey. Three Swallow is a contemporary take on the traditional Pure Pot Still Whiskey style that made POWERS one of the top selling whiskeys in the world. Matured for five to seven years in 2nd and 3rd fill American oak casks with a small contribution (3%) of distillate aged in Oloroso sherry butts, the result is a full-bodied whiskey with honeyed-spice and a hint of fruit and citrus.
