Our barrel rested expression is aged in American Oak Ex-Bourbon barrels to create a rich sweet rum displaying cola and leather on the nose with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and tobacco on the palate.

Surrounded by 22,000 acres of rainforest conservancy, Copal Tree Farm and Distillery was established in 2016, the first certified – organic farm and distillery in Belize to create a 100% authentic rum crafted with passion and sustainability at its core. Our founders have spearheaded the philanthropic support of the local community in Southern Belize for over 20 years, through a lasting legacy of rainforest preservation, marine conservation and support of local education. They designed the distillery to be zero impact by powering the stills with regenerative biomass and the process supports full – circle conversion of waste from production into agricultural inputs.
