In the middle of the 17th century, a representative of the French crown acquired all the land on the Antilles island and awakened three huge sugar cane plantations. At the beginning of the 20th century, they ventured the step from sugar production to the production of Rhum Agricole.

The Trois Rivieres rums are based on sugar cane juice instead of molasses.

The sugar cane for this rum is grown on the coast near the beach Anse Trabaud. This unique terroir gives it its salty note.
