Critic tasting note: (2019 vintage) “Bright, pale yellow with depth, slightly lighter on the rim. This has a lovely intensity, penetrating ripe pear and apple aroma, spiced honey, magnolia, and crunchy minerals. Medium-full bodied, aromas of pear and apple entended by savoury, beeswax notes, along with magnolia and oak spice details. The fruit has concentration and weight, elegant notes of oak spice adorned and added complexity. Lively acidity provides freshness and flows with chalky minerals to a lengthy closing. This is a flavoursome white made from slightly dried Garganega with an opulent palate, savoury minerals and oak elements. Match with grilled octopus and pork loin over the next 4-5 years. Fermented in oak barrels to 13.5% alc, aged on lees.
