This region enjoys a longer growing season than Napa, with hot, sunny days and cool, clear nights that enhance grape ripeness while preserving acidity. The fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon was carefully sourced from two distinct vineyards at opposite ends of the AVA, each contributing unique characteristics to the final blend.

One vineyard, situated in a high-desert site, experiences dramatic temperature swings from day to night, resulting in structured tannins and bright acidity. The other, nestled against the southern tip of the Santa Lucia Range, yields plush, generous fruit with a classic herbal edge.
