Ardbegs Spectacular release marks the first time the distillery has matured its oily and heavily peated single malt in port casks. These rare port casks were used alongside ex-bourbon barrels, imparting aromas of praline, vetiver, lavender buds and toffee apple on the nose, complemented by notes of eucalyptus, mint choc chip, mossy peat smoke and worn leather. A real treat for Islay whisky fans.
