The 2016 Late Bottled Vintage Port is an unfiltered field blend bottled June 30, 2020, with a long cork and 100 grams per liter of residual sugar. This is set for release later in 2020. Lovely, this is nicely balanced, elegant and fresh yet still expressive and vigorous. It is focused rather than jammy and very precise. Only in bottle about two months when seen, this still has some room to improve. It should age well, perhaps better than indicated.
