Dating back to 1851- our founders third great-grandfather, Heinrich Henry Ochs, moved his family from Germany to Gillespie County and opened one of the first saloons in Fredericksburg, Buckhorn Saloon, serving the family recipe for whiskey. We use the same hand-crafted recipe, known for its tried-and-true taste, for Luckenbach Road Whiskey.
