Founded along the “Golden Mile”of the Duero River by Peter Sisseck & friends in 1998, Quinta Sardonia’s vineyard locations were chosen for their unique microclimate and incredibly heterogeneous soils that provide unique organoleptic attributes to the wines of Quinta Sardonia. The estate is located less than 200 meters from the Duero River & from the D.O. Ribera del Duero, planted at 95% to Tempranillo. All wines produced at Quinta Sardonia are classified as a Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon, or ‘Wine from the Land of Castilla y Leon.’ Each bottling is considered to be a ‘multi-terroir, multi-varietal’ masterpiece, highly rated and in a class of their own. Quinta Sardonia estate is EU certified organic and biodynamically farmed, to preserve the health of their vines and the surrounding environment – to integrate grape-growing with the natural ecosystem of the Duero River Valley.

Tasting Notes:
Sardon is fresh, floral and light on the nose with pronounced notes of raspberries and other red forest fruit.
