Founded by Tad Seestedt in 1997, Ransom Spirits began with grappa, eau de vie, and brandy. By 1999, they expanded to fine wines, and in 2007, added grain-based spirits, including gin, whiskey, and vodka. Ransom Farms, located in Oregons Willamette Valley, has been certified organic since 2011 and grows barley and grapes on its forty-acre farm.

Ransoms spirits are crafted in a traditional French alembic pot still with hands-on distillation, preserving rich flavors and aromatic intensity. Using local, organic grains and botanicals, Ransom’s offerings reflect terroir and craftsmanship. Each bottle embodies Ransoms dedication to sustainability, quality, and tradition, making it perfect for toasting with friends and family.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of hazelnut shortbread and sugar cookie balance earthy rye spice. A smooth palate brings hints of Amoroso sherry and brown butter, ending with a rich, honeyed finish and baking spices.
