Widow Jane Lucky Thirteen 13 year old Small Batch Bourbon was originally offered as part of a private single barrel program, and while now a permanent offering from the Window Jane catalog of premium bourbon, this crafted whiskey is produced in limited quantities. Aged for a minimum of 13 years in hand-selected, charred American oak casks chosen by Widow Jane President and Head Distiller Lisa Wicker, Widow Jane Lucky 13 is bottled at 46.5% ABV and was first launched in Sept 2021. Praised by Wicker as having a rich mouthfeel and a lingering finish, this superbly crafted bourbon is composed of an undisclosed high-rye mash bill and features aromatic notes of thick butterscotch, bold cedar, and vanilla over a palate of citrus, baked sugar slivers, and warmly spiced caramel.
